Have to agree with mosquitoes, they're so annoying! Not to mention dangerous.

Life eventually would eventually find its way across the globe in case the phenomenon escalates to dangerous proportions. It's always had. 

Meh, I contribute my fair share of carbon to the Earth. I run electricity practically all day. I throw away plastic bottles in the regular trash and I don't recycle. Even knowing the potential damage I'm doing to the Earth, I don't really care to be completely honest. I also don't feel bad about whatever animals are supposedly extinct because of humans. That's just my two cents on the issue though.

I'm at the top of the food chain so I couldn't care less for soulless beings.

Not in such a small time scale, we are harming the ecology far faster than anything baring an asteroid impact

On a more serious note. Nearly every religion has a call to be a good steward of the planet and nearly all non-religious people who care seem to want to take care of the planet. Why do we suck at it? Just about every major philosophy calls for it. Perhaps its because we don't know or care as a race?

I swear, if Tigers become extinct I'll buy a few myself and breed them. there is no way I'll live in a world without Tigers. They're the best!
