Eh. 99.9999% of animals that existed are extinct. The couple that’s out fault are a drop in the pond.

Yep, and climate change will most likely speed it up a bit during the next century. It will probably stagnate after that, but nature will take at least a couple millions of years to restore itself.

What I don't understand is, why keep dangerous animals around at all. Animals suck, wasps, raccoons, beavers, bears, deer, coyotes, mice, ants, pests. Stay out of my house / property. Nr 1 that needs to go extinct are mosquitos, deer and horse flies.

Meh majority of the animals that were wiped out helped humans live a more stable life and there's nothing wrong with that, Human Life > Animal Life. Poacher are another story, what really annoys me are governments that attack Japan over killing whales while them self have no problem in killing sharks for safer beaches, least the Japanese use the whales they kill.

Humans are animals too. We're part of the food chain, the ecosystem, and whatever else. If we cause a species to go extinct, it is natural.

In other words, I do not agree that humans suck.

Humans are given a hard time but we have to realise we are in over our heads. We created all this tech without understanding what the implications would be. We're constantly learning about how the stuff we use hurts the environment like CFCs before, CO2, plastics etc. We fixed the hole in the ozone and most of us are somewhat trying to stop CP2 emissions. I think we need to cut hi,amity some slack, except stupid poachers because we never intended to kill off species and there was no malice or evil intent behind it. Humans are just stupider than we think we are and we are punching way above our weight and that of course is causing loads of problems
