So the Switch actually managed to sell more than 1 million per week every week ok december. That's huge.

Seems like PS4 was the best selling console worldwide in 2018, wont happen again in 2019 tho, but PS5 will dominate from 2021 forward

That is what everyone thought about the PS3 during the end of the PS2 era.

PS4 top console 2018.

What an achievement for a 5 years old console at $299.

Congrats!!!

Don't consoles typically peak in sales really late?  I remember the DS started off pretty slow in 2004-2005, but by 2007-2009 it was selling 20-30 million units per year.  Consoles sell more as more games are released and the price drops.

Switch/Xbone gap down to 13.1 million; shrank by 9.6 million in 2018.

In Europe the PS4 during Christmas was sold for 229€ with several games for free. Same in Japan.

What a moment in time. The Switch is over 30m within 2 years. I can remember people giving it 30m LT. Times have changed.

The PS4 is 18 million units sold in 2018, really impressive for an aging system.

That it will happen if Sony decides to lower its price permanently to $199?
