I love most Sony exclusives, but not planning on buying at this point. I will say that the horde fights look like something new and fun, but I'm guessing that's a small part of the game. And weapon/item selection looks awkward to me somehow.

But I'm hoping I'm wrong and it ends up being awesome and a must have. We shall see!

PushSquare did a feature on it. It looks like your standard open world game. Nothing new, but also nothing bad. The game borrows heavily from every aspect of other games that it's just crazy. It has the grenade throwing of Gears of War, the crafting of TLoU, quest givers ala Skyrim, and fast zombies out of Left 4 Dead. Horizon Zero Dawn kind of did the same thing, where they took ideas from other games that were successful, and merged them together into something unique.  I'm predicting a score around 83 to 87. 

Seems like it's gonna be a well-rounded game but honestly seems bland, maybe I'm getting a bit tired of these games that try to emulate the real world in a very realistic way. I mean, God of War for example is realistic looking but it's a fantasy world, and that's cool. I'll wait a bit on this one.

It seens like a good game but not Game of the Year material, and ppl nowadays seen to have a problem with that, either the game is the best thing ever or they will complain.

I think people have come to expect greater things when it comes to exclusives being developed by first party studios.

First why are you saying we, and us, when it should be I.  I know many people who are looking forward to this game.  There is enough pre orders and attention that Sony is considering making it a Franchise.  Also educate yourself, this is not a Zombie game.  The riding mechanics of the bike look great, the graphics look amazing and the fact that you use the environment your in to help assist you with the chasing hordes makes it more then a shoot at dead Zombie games.  I know I know your probably a fan of COD the re skins its games every year and you think thats innovation and great.


Anyways Bend is a great studio, I have full confidence in Days Gone.

I think it looks quite good, I will most likely pick it up.
