PS4 by 15-20 million 1 0.77%

PS4 by 20 million plus 4 3.08%

Total:130

I voted that PS4 will win by under 5 million, I don't see what others see, Switch will sell 20 million units this year?

Nintendo has no cards left except a switch handheld only for 200$ and that won't release this year. I suspect 2018 was peak year for switch and for 2019 it will sell 14 million units.

For PS4 I expect 14-15 million units as I don't think Sony will release another super slim version of PS4 and do no price-cuts.

If I had to make a prediction this early for 2019, I'd say:

NSW: 21-22M
PS4: 13-14M

So, the Switch wins by 8M, plus or minus a million.

Almost exactly my prediction, I have Switch 20-24M and PS4 13-15M

30 million for switch this year.

Mainline Pokémon, Animal Crossing and a revision.

That’s enough for that.

Pokemon? Animal crossing? Luigi Mainsion? Mario? Fire Emblem? Yeah you are already wrong.

Does it make people feel better about their purchase?

Probably 5-10M

Expecting roughly 15M PS4 and 20M+ Switches sold..

It’s only natural to compare sales between relevant systems

2019 will most likely be Switch's peak year. It may sell anywhere between 22-26 million assuming there wouldn't be severe supply issues and that Pokemon, Animal Crossing, console revisions and good holiday deals/pricecuts all make it.

I don't know if Sony will drop PS4's price permanently any time before PS5. For now, I'm going with a minimum 5-10 million Switch lead.

The hibrid console will win, with about 5 more million consoles. That´s the nature of console cycles. It would be interesting to see what happens if PS4 reduces the price. But I still think the Christmas Behemoth will win this year.
