My main is Jiggly, but I like Luigi a lot in this game! He's really powerful, had awesome combos with his grab. I love how Jiggly plays but I wish rollout was like in smash 4... It was great to break Shields.

I also play Lucas, Lucario, Dark Samus, Samus,  Falco and Zelda really good, and I used to play awesome with Olimar/Alph in 4 but now it's like I have some problems with his combos, I don't know.

I play mostly like I used to in for Glory, Omega stages, no items, no final smashes, 2 stocks.

I'm loving the game so far.

Ok Dark Samus is now my main. Her Super Missiles hit the shorter characters easier, than Samus'. Her dodge is faster.

Main: Lucina and I prefer a tournament style ruleset

my main is Mr. Game & Watch and i usually play with casual rules (all stages, 3 lives, optional stage hazards) and then i use a mix of preferred items. i like to exclude any healing items, as well as anything i just find annoying (gust bellows, fire flower, killer eye)

As always, I have a lot of fun playing Ness and Lucas.

As for my ruleset, I like the new Smash meter, no items, and either Battlefield / Final Destionation version of any random stage.

I switch between Kirby and Lucas for mains, however I'm starting to enjoy Olimar more, so I think I'm going to add him into the rotation.

I play three stock, no items, final destination maps only

Been playing a lot currently with Richter, Lucina, Ike, Little Mac and Zero Samus.

My big main here is Kirby tho, since I 100% World of Light and did a lot of spirit board only playing as him. Only fitting since this is his game basically.

I don't really have a main, its too early for me to tell yet but I have got a fairly large pool of characters I play more often. I haven't played a fighting game outside Smash where I really enjoy so many of the fighters. If I had to pick it'd be between Cloud, Yoshi and Bowser I think. I occasionally go random on characters since I probably enjoy at least 80% of the roster and it'll force me to play the few that I will generally ignore, both those that I like and those I don't like yet.

As for rulesets, I turn off all items except food (I generally dislike items but food is so unintrusive that it won't shift a match in an instant but gives a small reward if you have a second to spare), I usually do time matches lasting about 8 minutes instead of stock and spirits off. No FS meter and usually stages are random with or without hazards but not usually Final Destination or Battlefield variants. There are a few stages I'd prefer not to play (75M) but if they appear I just go with it since part of the fun for me is learning how to adapt to fighting in different stages.

So I like or love 37 different characters, which is more than half the roster. (I coupled Echoes, so the actual number at launch is seven shorter than 74, so 67). There are twenty that I'm just sorta meh with (I don't seek them out but I can play with them and I don't hate them.) And only 10 in total I dislike or outright hate. 10/67 fighters I dislike is a DAMN Good ratio! (The ones I hate are also the ones that people think are great but I've just not learned how to use, like Olimar, Luigi, and Rosalina/Luma)

And because I like, love, or am okay with so much of the roster, that's why I pick random. I do get ones I dislike every now and again but that's the fun of it all!
