God of war, no doubt. I have tried to play rdr2 twice but can't get through how slow the game is. I don't have the same amount of time to play as I used to have. Just to think I have to put 50hours just to get to the good part of the game is just too much for me.

I only played Smash, so Smash. Also have GoW but haven’t played it yet.

Smash by far, best in the series imo, and that's a very high bar.

Dragon Quest XI wins overall for me, but I played it in 2017.

I played only one of these games, and while I recognized it as a quality product, I wasn't that big of a fan. MHW by default. The important thing is that I can participate in the thread.

Forza Horizon 4

Only played Celsete and FH4. Celeste was decent but not even the best recent Game with Gold since both Battlefield 1 and Dante's Inferno where better. Forza Horizon 4 is my favorite game from the franchise and my favorite game from 2018. Even if I eventually play some of the other games up for vote I doubt I will like or play them as much as FH4 by the time I will almost stop playing it on a regular basis I will probably have played it close to 500 hours. Also there are rumors that it will get a third expansion so I will not stop playing it on a regular basis anytime soon.

Nothing can beat one special moment that gave goosebumps to everyone in God Of War in the whole generation.

Id take Horizon 4, Spiderman and Smash Bros over RDR2 and GOW4.

Smash

Out of the ones I've played, definitely Dragon Quest XI. Not only is the best one in the entire series, for me, it's also one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. Easily my favorite game of 2018.

God of War is a close second. That game was just brilliant from start to finish.
