Switch has it's slowest increase year-on-year thus far but to note last year had also the release of Kirby Star Allies.

Yes, this year with nothing it still beats last year with a noticable margin.

I expect a boost with FFVII next week, don't forget that this game was the 2nd best seller of the PS1 with 9,72M of units sold, and it is a pretty intensive fan community.

Digital only sucks though, I really wanted FFVII on a cartridge

Still not updated? Nearly 57K, narrowest lead yet

Just updated. I've been pretty busy with work this week and couldn't get around to it. Sorry for the delay.

You're welcome and that's much appreciated! :)

Thanks ! Take your time still if that's what you need. The info won't suddenly disappear out of thin air :P

Yeah, didn't want to pressure you, was just wondering since most of the time you updated long before I checked the thread

So will this thread also become obsolete when Media Create stops posting numbers (apparently)?

Well, at worst, maybe we could Switch (ha!) to Famitsu instead if Media Create really does stop with it's public data.

That's now almost a 7 week advantage over last year already, and it's very likely to grow further and further, as last year the Switch was dropping below 40k for quite some weeks and only sometimes barely made it above 50k.

If Switch can keep that 50k baseline up the advantage will start to grow quickly over the next weeks. It has games on COMG for the next couple weeks already (Yoshi for the next week on Media Create Famitsu, then Dragonball heroes the week after and FF X/X2 remaster the week after that), showing that it probably won't drop below 50k anytime soon - at least not before Goldenweek.

Just posted the final Media Create numbers. :'(
I would like to continue this thread with the Famitsu numbers, however, I'll need to find a link that takes me to their numbers, if they provide them weekly.
