I'm not expecting Sony to do another Ps4 slim or price-cut so about 14-15M this year (2019) and about 10M 2020 which leads to a total sales of 116M by the time of Ps5 launch.

This is the year when Nintendo Switch has a chance to surpass Ps4 sales and it will be an epic battle. I just hope Nintendo will start releasing sold-through numbers to consumers as shipment is not completely reliable.

I consistently called 18m+ ps4 sales for 2018 even when sony and most others doubted it. I also called for 90m+.

Depending on when ps5 comes out I think ps4 can be at 120m+ when it launches in 2020 and 140m+ by the end.

I don't see how you can expect more from spider man. You can add another million or so until now. it's over 10m already with some more sales to come in 2019.

Many were expecting it to do not more than 5m and for some that was already a long shot. People changed their expectations after the first week sales to crazy proportions not realizing this is gonna be one of the best selling games on playstation ever. It won't surpass RDR, GTA V or Black Ops 3 but is on the level of Uncharted 4, FIFA 18, Call of Duty WW2 and to our spider man on that level is crazy.

14.89 million. Actually, at first I didnt know December wasn't included. Though now I think it's pretty much guaranteed, due to December likely pushing Spiderman sales to over 11 million.

Unfortunately that wasnt a thread, I just stated the prediction in various other threads, which is gonna take an eternity to find, so a I'll spare the naysayers this time.

With your 2019 sales prediction the sale through numbers at the end of 2019 would be between 107 and 108,5 million. Only 3 million consoles sold in the following 4 years seems pretty low ...

In my opinion anything below 120 million is nearly impossible. Shipments are around 94 million (03/2019). Another 16 million shipment next fiscal year will put the ps4 at 110 million (03/2020). Only if sony stops producing ps4 completely in 2020+ 110 million units sold  are possible.

It did 18 million in 2018. It’s gonna do less than that this year. 15-16.3 million. 

Sales fell off a cliff in North America for December. Most likely didn’t even hit 1mil.
