Very nice ps4 numbers, however I kinda expected more from Spiderman. I wonder why the numbers arent to the end of the year? Still good nonetheless

Party time... and Seems like PS4 finished ahead by not much and within my expectations on the 18M.
Also great on the SW side. And not shabby Holidays and that will probably hold price cuts until next holiday season.

2nd best year ever for PS4 sales, so very good year

I said this in another thread here a few weeks ago:

5'2M for NS -> 16'2M end of the year
3'7M for PS4 -> 18'0M end of the year
1'5M for XBO -> 7'1M end of the year

So, 1st prediction 100% on point. XBOX is going to be never known officialy so....whatever. Only remains what Switch is going to do, I'm pretty sure i won't be too far either....

Edit: By the way, those numbers from December only were completely wrong because i counted bad the weeks..., but i just had the idea of the numbers at the end of the year.

Fantastic number, this year will be finally 100M+!

Spider-Man should be at 10M+ very soon, could see this one reaching 12-13M after everything is said and done.

This pretty much confirms Spiderman is more than 10M sold to consumers worldwide...what a success....

Well until they give us the numbers from the end of November/December included, then we can suppose so, also clear that PS4 Bundle in NA gave it a major boost.

In Europe we know Spiderman did really great in December (just in Spain in Christmas week it did 50k, but we know UK and EMAA numbers too). If it not surpassed 10M yet, it must be really close, but i think it did it anyway.

I'm expecting the second important price cut for PS4 this year, maybe 200$ for base PS4 and 300$ for PS4 Pro. So, because i don't expect Nintendo doing any price cut for Switch in 2019 (only if the sales are not as good as expected), i expect 2019 to be really close between PS4 and Switch again. PS4 should at least be able to reach 17M with that price cut, and if TLOU Part II launches in 2019...., it's almost a guarantee.
