Switch outsold PS4 and XB1 individually even last year, and this year Switch has much stronger December than it had last year because Smash Bros launch and Pokemon launch in November, while its expected that PS4 and XB1 will be in decline compared to last year. Sources suggests that Switch is probably above 2m while PS4 and XB1 are around 1m, so its very possible that Switch outsold them combined.

Physical release is Thursday the 17th and we usually get leaks that night or the following morning.

Public release along with digital is the following Tuesday so the 22nd.
