Resident Evil 2 Remake.

First i started with Leon A normal. But i finished with Claire A normal first. Continued Leon A normal and completed it. Followed by Leon B normal. Leon A Hardcore. Now Claire B Hardcore almost through. Tried 4thSurvivor couple of times, but its very very hard. That one time i made it to the roof (again), climbing down the ladder, thinking walk the first few steps towards the exit, so not to alert nearby enemies. But i was too slow and the plan was literally crushed by Mr. X. That day i learned when he drops down you dont want to stand directly beneath.

Also funny, to hide from him when he is close by, then try to follow him through the building. When he discovers me eventually, looking all surprised, i yell "Yeah, how does it feel, punk?! To be stalked all day long, that feeling to have always someone on your heels!". He then gets angry, throws a punch at me, i shoot down the stupid little hat of his. He gets even more angry, trys to punch me again. I blast him till he takes a knee. Then i get really close, only inches away and whisper into his ear: "Who's your daddy?"

Btw. wouldnt it be neat if different hats could be unlocked for Mr. X to wear? Like a chapeau claque, fez, beret, golfer hat...

Hunting Season is done...

Around the Network

After 80 hours of game time, I finally got around to finishing World of Light. Haven't 100%-ed it , but took me 20 hours to finish it off. It was missing some of what I loved from Subspace, but it was a great adventure mode and a good way to incorporate all the franchises it did.

In progress:
Wargroove (NS) (At the beginning of Act 6 now, ~10 hours played)

Finished:
Little Nightmares (NS)
Steamworld Heist (NS)
Katamari Damacy Reroll (NS)
The Binding of Issac (NS) (Got to mum the first time, so I'll count that as done, but I'm still playing to get deeper)
Smash Bros Ultimate (NS)

Started, but quit because I didn't like it:
Xenoblade 2 (NS) - sold after 5 hours because the combat was awful.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (NS) - I finished it on the Wii U by myself, got it because my fiance loved the Wii version, but she doesn't really like this one so we've stopped in World 4. Might pick it up again later this year.

Still playing, but done the 'story':
Overcooked 2 (NS)
Smash Bros Ultimate (NS)

In queue:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (NS)
Dragon Quest XI S (NS)
Pokemon 2019 (NS)
Animal Crossing (NS)

So I've picked up my first Final Fantasy, IX, and am liking it so far. Adding VII to my queue as a result. I'm currently 12 hours in, I think Vivi's my favourite character, I love his design and writing. Have spent more than 20 hours on Tetris 99 with my fiance (taking turns) too, it's stupidly good. I've only managed a single victory out of 100 games, she's managed 5 out of 200. Astral Chain looked fantastic in the Direct so I'm adding that to my queue for the year too.

In progress:
Final Fantasy IX (NS)

Finished:
Little Nightmares (NS)
Steamworld Heist (NS)
Katamari Damacy Reroll (NS)
The Binding of Issac (NS)
Smash Bros Ultimate (NS)
Wargroove (NS)

Started, but quit because I didn't like it:
Xenoblade 2 (NS)
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (NS)

Still playing, but done the 'story':
Overcooked 2 (NS)
Smash Bros Ultimate (NS)
Tetris 99 (NS) (I won, I'm counting that as completing the objective of the game :P It's ridiculously addictive though)

In queue:
Final Fantasy VII (NS)
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (NS)
Astral Chain (NS)
Dragon Quest XI S (NS)
Pokemon 2019 (NS)
Bayonetta 3 (NS)

These threads really make me realise how lax I've become in finishing games. Currently the only one I'm anywhere near finishing in RDR2, where I'm at the epilogue but haven't picked it up in a while.

Currently playing:
Metro Exodus
Assassins Creed Odyssey
Darksiders 3

Other I've picked up but not actively progressing
New Super Mario Bros Switch
Pokemon Lets Go
Forza Horizon 4 & Steep (as you cant really complete them)
Retro Pokemon Blue & Gold on the 3DS
Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection

On hold
Read Dead Redemption 2 (epilogue)
Breath of the Wild (4th divine Beast)

So far:

Battle Princess Madelyn (NS)

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland DX (NS)

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (NS)

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (3DS)

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (NS)

Ys IV: Mask of the Sun (SNES)

Ys III: Wanderers of Ys (SNES)

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (NS)

Ys V: Kefin, The Lost City of the Sand  (SNES)

Finished: Fear Effect Sedna (NS)

Around the Network

Resident Evil 2

Finished RE2 Remake, both Leon A and Claire A campaigns, haven´t played their B campaigns yet. Also finished Blooborne for like the 4th time (still my favorite game of this generation)

Currently playing Prey, a game that went under my radar till recently but I´m surprised by how much I´m enjoying it, though I´ve heard the campaign falls apart in the end.

Soon DMC5 and Sekiro will come out and I have high expectations from both, especially Sekiro since it´s made by the same guys who made Dark Souls and Bloodborne...after I´m done with them I´m thinking about making some time for Xenoblade 2 since I´m in the mood for a JRPG and have the game but haven´t started it yet.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 (NS)
Dragon Quest XI S (NS)
Pokemon Shield (NS)
Bayonetta 3 (NS)

I've had time since classes finished a few weeks ago, and have finished FFIX, my second run-through of Dragon Quest V (first on the DS), have done 20% of DQVI and am 90% of the way through DQIV.

Dragon Quest V cemented itself as my equal favourite game of all time. The SNES version was perfect already, but the DS version somehow took it and made it even better. DQIV is fantastic as well, I love the characterisation. Have played a bit of Chocobo's Dungeon too.

Final Fantasy IX was good, and so in addition to VII, I've pre-ordered X/X-2 as well.

DQV is one game that I hope will be available on Switch´s online store, is there any word on whether that is being considered?

I'm really hoping for it too (a remake in DQXI's engine would be great but I'd be completely  happy with just a port), but sadly there's been no indication as to whether it's in the works or not at this point. They are making a movie based on Dragon Quest V that comes out later this year, so who knows, maybe it'll get announced+released as a tie-in.

And now I've just finished IV. I really like the pacing and separate stories (can see where Octopath got it's inspiration, not just from FF). I'd put it third in my DQ ranking so far. V>XI>IV>I>II. Need to finish VI and then III, VII, VIII and IX afterwards
