I saw yesterday a video from DF and the level of detail is amazing.  There was an area of beds of rocks that impressed me the most.

think so too. And the cutscenes are the new reference. Death Stranding has many complete new ideas and looks impressive - Only The Last of Us 2 has the chance to win(Graphic-Award), next Year - in my opinion.

Yep I think Death stranding has ugly graphics, there's just too much anti-aliasing/vaseline/blurs/fog/post-processing effects in the game, the overall package is just an ugly mess, it's the same with games like The Order: 1886 and Ghost of Tsushima.

I haven't played those three games but looking at youtube videos the graphics is just ugly because of those graphic effects I mention above. But I'm not a graphic expert.

Is it your preference for dark pictures or are all these games rather dark in tone? Or is dark the new realism, like brown was last gen :)

Death stranding does look really good in those shots.

It seems a lot harder to get beautiful screenshots in fully lit scenarios. Hence the dark is the new realism comment.

The Star wars game easily wins this year, can't even think of a game with good graphics released this except that game, maybe death stranding if you like gray graphics haha :)

Forgot Metro exudos was released this year. It's really between Metro and Star wars, I prefer Metro as it has more realistic graphics while Star wars has more plastic/cartoonish graphic. How come man of Medan/Days gone/Devil may cry 5 are on the list and not Call of Duty: modern warfare? That game looks better than those.
