I agree with you completely. Something that is free isn't exactly selling per unit totals. It has different form of revenue collection, which is what this list is not about.

Looks like you can't effectively use the "Its sales don't include digital." when talking about AAA/bigger Switch games. I would have thought that at least a couple of last years big Nintendo exclusives would be on this list.

Surprised that P:LG Eevee is downloaded more than Pikachu, because among the physical versions Pikachu has been outselling Eevee by quite a lot.

I think in NA it could be seen as more even. I think in Europe is where you notice the huge spike towards Pikachu.

It could be revenue as other free software with no microtransactions - such as the Pokemon game - is not on there at all.

Also, there are reports of kids spending hundreds to over 1000 USD on Fortnite.
