I don't really care, my PC is always connected 24/7. I always care about the best deal, I buy where it is cheaper, the reason I use more than one platform besides Steam.

Yeah that only works if you have already signed in once during the day. There seems to be some sort of 24 hour check-in DRM. Or maybe it checks up on you every 48 hours, or every 12 hours. I don't know. Turn your internet off for the night, wake up in the morning and then try to start the game, without turning your internet on. It won't work.

See the OP. Epic admitted that their store doesn't allow offline play, but said they are working on it.

No problem with most of this thread, but ... people know Steam is DRM, right? Offline mode is far from some kind of DRM remover and it's certainly not perfect. I've been unable to play a game offline more than a few times. Steam also FORCES you to update games or you can't play at all--well, unless you google a few tricks.

We're aware of Steam's offline mode, but Epic as it stands is always online. We don't even know how they'll implement their version of it, and if anything (knowing Epic), it could be half arsed.

Still , one feature planned, another 10 to be executed. Then onto the them stopping the exclusivity bullcrap. Also a newfound focus on UT would be nice as well (Since Epic is absolutely loaded now).
