Will Switch Sell 2 Million This December in the US?

Switch has the potential this month to be the first console since the Wii to sell 2 million in a month in the US. Why? Smash is the biggest exclusive this year, and Nintendo's history of strong December sales.

Only the PS2, GBA, DS, and Wii have ever reached this milestone.

It did over 1.5 million last year and it's looking like this year will pass that comfortably, I would say anywhere between 1.8-2.2 million.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

All signs point to yes

My prediction from way back in October was that November would be alright 1.05 million (turned out I was wrong by 300,000) and December would be 2 million. So lets stick with that prediction. I swear to god if it does 2.3 million!

Smash is huge so maybe around 2.1m

I would say 2.1-2.3 million

Crazy how well GBA did, I know that's said often but it doesn't seem to be acknowledged as much as the PS2/4 and Wii.

Based on what Benji said on Resetera regarding this probably turning out to be the Switch's biggest weeks sales since Launch (which means over 800K for this week since that at least was BF weeks sales) I'm gonna guess that this month Switch manages just shy of 2.5 million consoles sold. What are the top 10 biggest December Console sales ever?

From what I recall, it had huge beginning. However it was killed off a bit early by the DS.

I'm going to be optimistic and say yes

It ll probably be really close, but it might not.
