Capcom aren't going to win any business awards (or much in the way of sales) for their handling of the Switch so far. The thing has been out nearly two years and the way the wind is blowing in Japan is pretty obvious at this point, yet Capcom is still dragging their feet. Have they released a single non-port other than Mega Man 11?

You can stream Resident Evil 7 in Japan! Other than that, no. Pretty sure it has been port city and Megaman for Capcom on the Switch.

True, but Resident Evil 7 Cloud came out months after the original release, so it's falling into the same trap.

Then again, this is the company who put ads on the skulls of dead children in Street Fighter V, so, I'm not surprised.

Great hold for Switch after Smash Bros week, next week should be strongest week ever for Switch (more than 300k), PS4 has good sales thanks to great deal, also YTD Switch sold almost twice more than PS4.

It's funny how you mention things like this mini detail to downplay the great PS4 performance, yet you will never mention that if Nintendo does the same thing.

Downplaying PS4 sales, when and how exactly? What I wrote is very clear fact, deal with $50 price cut and 2 free games is great deal and reason why PS4 had good week.

Also interesting you accusing someone for displaying while on other hand you have posts like this one:

Yeah you were just acknowledging how good ps4 sales were right?

I was very clear, "PS4 has good sales thanks to great deal", if someone sees something negative or something that downplays PS4 in that post, that's his problem, because there is nothing that's negative or downplaying, of inaccurate in my post.

It also thrived in the absence of Monster Hunter.  PS4 HAS Monster Hunter.  And MHW has a much larger budget and it definitely shows in the presentation so not only is GE3 having to compete with MH, it is getting shown up.  Going PS4 only was very foolish given the history of the franchise.

Unfortunately, porting it to Switch will probably not help now.  It will be old news and for midtier franchises that's very detrimental.  It won't hurt, but this should have had a Switch version from the start.

EDIT: I looked it up, and no. No they have not. Ports and legacy collections. Mega Man 11 is the only game that was released in the window with other platforms, unless I missed one.

And they couldn't even be bothered to put both Mega Man and Mega Man X collections entirely on their carts either.  Capcom is, hands down, the most disappointing 3rd party actively supporting the platform.  Obviously better than not being there, but not by much.  E freaking A has spent more development resources on the SINGLE franchise they have on the Switch than Capcom has in total.  The ports are just that low effort.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Exactly. As I was asking you were just complimenting the good sales of the ps4.

I think I would rank Konami and EA as worse.  But Konami has essentially imploded anyway.  It makes me sad that they have so much good IP doing nothing because of crazy internal politics

A whole 9 copies. How shameful.

At this rate, a month from now, it'll be basically flatlined. :P
