Man agrees to abide by terms of service. Proceeds to indulge his persecution complex when he is predictably punished for violating the terms of service he’d previously agreed to uphold. Some people think the rules just don’t apply to them, choosing to cry about an imaginary biased Dark Web instead of pulling thelves up by the bootstraps and taking personal responsibility.

What did Sargon of Akkad do to get himself removed?

Nothing other than being right winged and the Pateron not wanting him to have a platform to spread his opinion.

So being right winged now officially includes being racist?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Sargon didn't even break terms of service. They banned him for made up reasons and for clear political bias and Patreon's CEO refused to speak to him concerning his abrupt ban, despite speaking to others (Tim Pool) about his banning, while still stating "we don't talk about other individual's accounts." Keep in mind, there are countless other pages/users, some more prolific than Sargon, on Patreon, using similar or worse language (Chap Trap House told viewers to commit suicide) without so much as a warning.

Only the most staunch, blind dems can defend Sargon's banning, regardless of your view of him and his stances. Patreon's knee-jerk reaction has cost them, and countless innocent content creators who use Patreon, revenue. Look up Styx, Tim Pool, or even non-political youtubers and such making statements of how many subs/revenue they've lost since Sargon's banning.

It was a stupid decision that hurts content creators using Patreon as a platform the most.

The Silicon Valley pseudo-religious elites need to be brought to heel, and if our government won't do it, it's up to us as consumers to vote with our wallet to bankrupt them.

I do not give a damn about what values a rich "liberal" elite pretends to have for political posturing, I purchase a service to get the service.

I swear the dem elites now have more in common with the Puritan Bible-thumpers of yore. And they wonder why Gen Z is the most conservative/Libertarian generation since the 50s...

Let me preface this by saying I do not throw around the racist card lightly. In fact I strongly support that saying something does not make you something, i.e. saying something racist does not make you a racist. You also have to think that way and have to have intent.

Now here is the quote that convinced me that he is a racist.

https://patreonhq.com/hate-speech-on-patreon-a9026e52c2cf

“I just can’t be bothered with people who chose to treat me like this. It’s really annoying. Like, I — . You’re acting like a bunch of n*****s, just so you know. You act like white n*****s. Exactly how you describe black people acting is the impression I get dealing with the Alt Right. I’m really, I’m just not in the mood to deal with this kind of disrespect.”
“Look, you carry on, but don’t expect me to then have a debate with one of your f**gots.…Like why would I bother?…Maybe you’re just acting like a n****r, mate? Have you considered that? Do you think white people act like this? White people are meant to be polite and respectful to one another, and you guys can’t even act like white people, it’s really amazing to me.”

Saying "Nigger" a lot doesn't make you a racist but it's obvious that this guy believes that white people are somehow superior to black people and calling white people niggers is somehow degrading because they're supposed to be better. Thinking that one skin color is inherently superior to another is pretty much the textbook definition of being racist.

This guy doesn't sound smart enough to actually use satire. In fact, if he was smart he wouldn't have phrased it in that way in the first place. The last sentence is pretty damning as well. But whatever fits your rhetoric I guess.

Harris and Peterson are both very smart individuals, especially when it comes to how people think and why. Harris is clearly left but not what some would call 'radical' left, and Peterson is fairly center but sides with the right based on the lefts political viewpoint at the moment. Ruben used to be part of TYT and now has his own show and is also fairly center, yet sides with the right because he thinks the left has gone way to far considering he's got a lot of hate for being gay and not a firm lefty anymore.

The way I understand it, is that Sargon was banned from Patreon for saying something on YouTube quite a while ago. I can't remember if it was months or years, but not recent. Patreon or someone else found it and used it against him. The problem is that while it could fall under hate speech (I think it was) from Patreons rules and guidelines, which is up to them, what was said has nothing to do with Patreon because it was on another platform that isn't tied to those rules and guidelines. Patreon is basically acting as Team America world police, and we know how people tend to feel about that.

Sargon is upset because he found out from his viewers that he was kicked off Patreon, and he had to contact Patreon to find out officially. Patreon in short, basically told him their rules and guidelines aren't well defined and so this incident can fall into that. Sargon and many other Patreon members are pissed off yet worried that without well defined guidelines, anyone could be banned at anytime, which is not a stable business model.

Patreon doesn't seem to care and doesn't really want to do much about it, and considering the constant insta-bans that have been happening more and more recently, tied to social media or internet based services, certain individuals want to get together to create their own version of Patreon. You can bet if this happens, that will just be the first step towards creating their own knockoffs of other platforms they use, which tend to be somewhat risky and could get worse.

Thank you.  This is what the OP should have been.

Well there's quite a bit to it, to fully and completely explain everything properly, which I barely touched on. I didn't even realize at the time, that I left out the fact that all of these individuals are on YouTube and other social media. They cover politics from time to time, some more some less, and get a lot of hate because they actually treat each other with respect and want to find common ground, instead of spewing random insults and wanting nothing to do with each other. Many of them are labeled as right or far right, when most would be center or right at the most, which is why they are doing what they are doing, trying to come together and make sense of everything. Sargon also tends to be edgy, and can definitely skirt the line from time to time if not slip passed it, but not because of hate, it's partly his style and also for clicks/subs and probably some trolling on the side.

Some would say Sargon was asking for it, and others would say the left today draws the 'right' into a corner and then tries to explain to them how equal and fair their space in the room is. However, when the 'right' flinches and easily touches the line, they are banned from the room forever, and Sargon and the rest are pissed because the room is huge and there's just no excuse for irrational segregation like that. They aren't even asking for mathematically equal space, they just want enough to be able to move their arms and express themselves logically and peacefully, yet they're being picked off one by one on social media platforms. Truthfully, they would like to all be in the same room without any lines, but that's the long term pipe dream goal in social media as well as politics, etc. This is why they are looking to start their own platform(s) if the existing left leaning platforms won't play nice.

Bingo. I've had a theory for the past few years that this staunch pseudo social justice/PC as a means to justify censorship is essentially the modern day Evangelical Christians. Thankfully, more and more seem to be realizing these parallels. The similarities are striking if you think about it, right down to the "original sin" and excommunication (deplatforming). Hell, just take an Antifa protestor and swap their black garb out with a KKK white hood/mask and it's the same exact thing, just a slightly different, more"modernized" or socially acceptable breed of it.
