MK8 is by far the best mario kart has ever been.

I'm one of the weirdos who like Double Dash best. I also regard Super Circuit quite highly. Having said that, MK8 is the most polished title.

@OP: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It’s the best racing game ever made as far as I’m concerned.

I had a lot of fun with Double Dash!! and DS also.

As to what I’d like to see...boy I dunno. Deluxe remedied the one missing piece—battle mode. Maybe a track creator?

Wii. Mainly nostalgic reasons but bikes were better which just became trash later on. Each character had their own color customized vehicle. The tracks were just better imo and I know the game was horribly unbalanced but it was crazy fun.

This will be blasphemous to read, but I never played Double Dash. It just completely past me by for some reason.

So I have to give it to MK8 instead.

MK8 is definitely the best in the series, hands down. It has the best tracks and is the most balanced.

Unfotunately, I am completely clueless what they could add in a future MK game. Nintendo has set itself quite a challenge, I think, since they raised the bar that high.

8 is the best. It just simply is better in every way than the others. Goijf forward, I'd like to see more variation in the performance characteristics of the karts. Like now there are a bunch if karts, but really only a few different sets of stats. So, more variation there would be ny top wish.

On a related note, I'm really dissapointed in 8D. It's the same game from 4 years ago, just rereleased with a tiny bit of new stuff. And, for that, we'll get an extra few years if waiting for the true next entry in the series.
