OT - Destiny is the game that played the biggest roll in my life*. So, I could say that it is my GOTD. Or, I guess I could say TW3 or BotW, as I found those to be the coolest games in recent years.

* I think I have about as much time in Destiny and Destiny 2 as I have in all other games combined since the D1 launch.

That's why they count the first decade as 1-9.

Yes. Like they say there:

 

What year does a decade start?

as we are now in the 21st Century, the decades start as 2010, 2020, 2030, 2040, 2050, 2060, 2070, 2080, 2090 and the 22nd Century will start as 2100

Hmm.  I guess those are answers from different people.  Anyway, since a decade is ten years, and since there was no year zero, I hold that decades start at year XXX1.

Well a decade can be anything. 2005-2014 is a decade. When people say the 90s they usually mean 90-99. You know, the years with a 9.

Then I decree that all decades from here forward start on September 17th of years XXX4.  So, our current decade started on September 17th, 2014.
