Looks like they are more or less the same at this point. I think in future years Switch will be a lot better than 3DS+Wii U though.

Great job in the US for the Switch. Any particular reason not to use global numbers instead of just US numbers?

I'm guessing because it's easier to get concrete numbers from the US and Japan via NPD and Media Create/Famitsu compared to everywhere else.

Looks like Switch will easily win November, so even if it does the same as last year (1.5m) in December, it will still end up selling more than both combined. Wow!

That's a good point. Europe is basically a haze of guestimates compared to the more precise NPD/MC/Famitsu numbers.

Like Wombat said, we dont get monthly/weekly sales outside of US/Japan and this sites numbers are estimates that get adjusted very often so it would be a bit of a hassle.

I could however do a comparison based on quarterly shipments if you would like me to.

While you are at it, make that thread for lifetime instead of restricting it to a single year. Worldwide shipments and regional breakdown, so that's four tables in total.
