Nope, it is in the titles "one of the biggest fails", so the title is talking about the biggest failures.

Not a comercial failure? If after 6 months in the market it doesn't sell the initial shipment that is a fail, it also didn't manage to help sales of Switch on first half of the year.

Defensive of PSmini? When was that if I have acknowledge that it failed?

Yet it did sell over a million units at a much higher pricepoint aimed at a specific audience. That is a special edition price sold each time. You bet that it made them money lol. Anyway, you were the one who brought it in when it shouldn't have been. This was about the PS Classic, a classic console that failed so why?

The thread is about failures of the year.

I'll repeat again, if the product have failed to sell the first shipment so longer after release then it's a failure. But then again I'm the one being defensive or damaging control right?

Probably still gonna buy one eventually so I can hack it. The components are actually worth the original $100 price. The games aren't anywhere near that, however it is already super easy to add games.

Probably among them with Labo and some other obscure release we don't even care.

I think people care about Labo because it's innovative. But the psmini is not innovative.

Quite possible. I loved the concept, but price/execution/cardboard made me not eager anymore. So there is plenty of room for improvement and a very good second round.

The thread is about failures of the year.

It wasn't originally, but morphed into such as a way to negate the failure of the PSC.

I have yet to see anyone negating it, but I have seem plenty negating Labo. Unless you want to say the sole purpose of the thread was to troll PSMini?

Lol, reading back through the thread it was you that brought Labo into the discussion first. The clear direction was about PS1 classic and you decided to derail, interesting.

The thing sucks.
That's what you get for screwing LoD, we screw you, Sony.

To be fair, they would have included the pal version of LoD too, so maybe it is great they fucked up, because they could have fucked up even more!

At least the thing is very easy to hack so if you take a walk on the darkside with this thing, you will get your better value out of it I guess

Derail?

If he wanted only to lambast PSMini he could have put PSMini the worse fail of all time. But let's just ignore that Labo done bad because you don't want to accept it. But good that you won't try to imply that I'm defending the ridiculous product that was PSMini. I'm pretty sure I can find plenty of defensors of Labo though.

Thread is about the PS Classic, so yes, you are the one being defensive and derailing the thread. It is damage control like you put it.
