Fight Night Champion is surprisingly a very active online game.

Forums - Gaming Discussion - Fight Night Champion is surprisingly a very active online game.

So Im one those jerks that buys new hardware to play old games and I've been playing a lot of Fight Night Champion.

I was genuinely surprised to see over 1300 were online playing this game. Thats more people Ive seen playing Halo or CoD games on 360 recently.

So I'm just pointing out two things. We need a new Fight Night and old games are great.

For the first time we wholeheartedly agree on something. I'd LOVE another serious boxing game. Tired of the UFC games.

God, I wish they'd bring back fight night or give us a remaster of Fight night 3, I'd break my boycott for that. I'd jizz all over a Fight night remaster in VR.

@OP. Probably because it's the last decent boxing game outside of Creed for VR. They won't release any and compete with their own UFC titles unfortunately. Good to see you're having fun.

EA sucks at most sports imho but their boxing games have been consistently good to great. I used to love Knockout Kings on the PSone.

I actually REALLY enjoyed Fight Night Round 2, although it's the only game in the series I've played, but the controls felt really unique at the time, it was fun too!

I'm pretty sure you agreed with horribly racist comments I made once. So we agree on few things.

I actually enjoy the UFC games. I played the first quite a bit even though it was a buggy mess. The second was great, online stuff and card system was actually done well. The third was a step back, some of the control commands became convoluted, card system got fucked up, but I still enjoyed it even if less than 2.

Maybe you already heard but the latest UFC 3 update was call the the Fight Night Champion update and they added the fictional characters from the story mode to UFC 3.

So maybe they are entertaining bringing it back. The UFC games havent been doing huge numbers. So maybe they can take time off UFC and work on Fight Night. Their UFC engine could even be used, it already works as a solid boxing game and has those skin jiggling effects.

In my opinion the UFC should already have boxing and kickboxing. It would add value simply by disabling attacks kicks or takedowns.

How has there not been a current gen fight night is beyond me. Are they just too lazy?

It's no surprise, fighting games are popular among casual gamers.

One of my fav racing games Dirt2 on PS3 swill soon be 10 years old but there's always ppl online playing, I wonder if the 360 version is so active too.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

The last Fight Night game I played was Fight Night Round 3 because it was ridiculously easy getting all the achievements for it. The only game that was easier was NBA 2K6.
