Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS3/PS4 title "Journey" coming to PC - Epic Games Store Exclusive

We'll see if it stays exclusive once it launches. They take more of the selling price there than at Steam, but at Steam they'll sell more units, offseting the difference.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

It seems like Sony is trying to tap into the PC market without causing its flagship platform to lose out. Having older games available in some way on PC. First with PS Now and now by releasing games, whose IP they own, directly onto it.

It's the perfect fit,Sony has put it on all their platforms and it's journey has come to a end, pun intended , plus its a unique game that doesn't really fit into the make another one mould.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I'd love to buy Journey again as PSVR or PCVR version

Still haven't tried this one out but I will definitely play it since it was free with PS+ and I heard a lot of positive things about it. But first I want to finish SHadow of the Colossus.

Who knows, doesnt matter - wait for Flow and Flower to come out for the "Journey Collectors Edition" bundle - to be cheaper :p

I don't need to wait to not buy a game/bundle from a store I won't care about except for the games they'll give for free.

This isnt new - Hell Divers for an example came out a while ago on Steam.

Sony's not gonna release their first party developer titles like God of War, Uncharted, etc on PC - they will let the indie developed games get released because they are the publisher but didnt use any in house studio.

I expect House Marque (or w/e its called) to release their games in the future on PC.

I forgot about Helldivers. Thing is, they already have one foot in the door for releasing their first party developed titles on PC through PS Now. Whether or not they go all the way and eventually release older first party developed titles directly on PC remains to be seen. Though Sony has developed games for PC before. Through Sony Online Entertainment before they sold them off. I'm wondering if Sony's long-term plans involve having a presence on PC just in case things go South for them.

that's pretty cool for more people to be able to experience this Journey! It's a fairly unique game and rather beautiful in places.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I wonder why Sony is supporting Epic over Valve on this title. There is already a few PS4 games on Steam, I wonder why this is exclusive to Epic. Oh well.
