If those PS4 numbers are true...., PS4 is going to be the disappointment of the month by quite a margin....awful numbers.

Is this a joke? Why would anyone buy a PS4 console in North America exactly one week before there's a gigantic sale on the PS4?

I'm shocked it's near the Switch globally on the Pokemon release week. I was expecting it to be destroyed this week, like  3:1 or at least 2:1 ratio in favor of Switch.

thought the same, ps4 numbers are amazing if we think it's 5 year old and still sales that good

The Holiday is about to begin, Ps4 could be having the best ones holiday ever if Sony priced it at 199.99$/€/¥ across the globe.

Switch with Smash & Pokemon is going to absolute crush 30M LT by December 31st.

PS4 will be at around ~91M I think.

Last year Sony said PS4 sold 5'9M from Nov 19-20 to Dec 31, 6'2M in 2016 and 5'7M in 2015 in the same time periods. If according to this site PS4 was around 84'9M sold until Oct 27 and ends selling around 91M it will mean that this holiday season is going to be the worst since 2015, at least. With Spiderman, RDR 2, COD BOPS4, and many others, i did not expected this.

Switch selling 30M at the end of the year...., yes, I agree. That will mean around 17M Switch sold in 2018 and if your prediction of PS4 becomes true then PS4 is going to sell around 17'5M in 2018, the same as 2016 when it was selling way better this year until now than that year....

If PS4 has around 6M sold in the holiday season like previous years it should end around 18-18'5M according to this site, so closer to 92M lifetime. But well, these are VGC numbers, so we won't know the real numbers until Sony and Nintendo gives them.

PS4 was selling real good this year and suddenly in November is going to sell like a million less than last year worldwide at this rate. It doesn't matter is its 5th year. I'm comparing PS4 perfomance this month compared to the rest of the year....PS4 was like 10-15% up YOY in USA for example, and in its 2 last months it could end behind last year. Without context, selling only a little bit less than last year in its 5th year is really good, but when you consider it was doing so good until now, with all those bundles with huge games this year....

It's killing it!

Switch's numbers are wrong at Japan, that week Switch sold 200.850 units.

Congrats to Switch. At this pace they can possibly hope to sell 20m hardware next year which is looking really good for the console. I've underestimated Switch again unfortunately this year. Thought it would end at 25m but of course they should already pass that mark after the next week (Black Friday).

PS4 and Xbox One on the other hand really look like they are on their way out this year. With these two consoles, I've overestimated them both. Especially
PS4 because I thought that they both will have it's peak year this year. How wrong I was. PS4 is already down 2m YoY which I can potentially see ending up in 3-3.5m drop by the year's end. For Xbox One though, things looked pretty nice until last week which was Xbox One X launch week a year ago. But yeah, this drop is huge. They lost almost 1m compared to last year in two weeks and I suppose it will only get worse in the following weeks especially considering their bad Black Friday deals and the fact that MS chose wrong games to market their console this holiday - the games with such a critical backlash as Fallout 76 and BFV. I expect XB1 to finish below 7m this year which definitely is not a good sign.

So, if I were to guess years's end sales now I think I would go with:
PS4 - 91-92m
XB1 - 42-43m
Switch - 28-29m

Are Switch numbers in Japan right? Sold more than 200,000 units in the Pokémon launch.

Prediction: Nintendo Switch sells 100 million until the end of 2021

Yay! Congrats to Switch! Pokemon 2019 should double that amount.

Pocky Lover Boy!

This was Fallout and Battlefield week for PS4.

Even though it's not true pokemon, I was expecting more. I guess many Pokemon fans have already bought NSW. NSW adoption was much faster than 3DS back then, so I guess Pokemon now and in the future will not help NSW as much as it helped 3DS.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

The Switch numbers seem a bit fishy because Japan had the biggest increase despite being the worst region for Pokemon Let's Go.
