Well, in all fairness, RDR2 is a great game. I wasn't agreeing on the award for best music going to it. I mean, at least of Celeste and Octopath Traveler I know they have incredible music. but overall RDR2 deserves some awards.
The thing much worse was, that an action game with hardly any RPG elements won the RPG award. Not Dragon Quest XI, not Ni No Kuni, not Octath, not Pillars... This was a bad nomination to begin with.
Christopher Judge saying " read it boy" was the highlight of the show.
Am I the only one dissapointed with the award for best performance?
Not to disregard any of the nominees... they were all excellent and Roger Clark did an amazing job as Arthur on RDR2.... but I do think this award should go to Bryan Dechart. His work fully interpretating Connor (voice and motion), a dual character with hundreds of pages of text, over several different plots was just outstanding. I think the lower popularity of Detroit:Become Human over all the other games in this category definetely decrease his chances of being awarded

Yeah. It was well deserved.
Forza continues to dominate the racing genre, well deserved. Into the Breach is an amazing game, Subset games are so underrated, glad to see them getting something. GOTY was clearly out of RDR2 and GOW and neither game interests me.. and as for the award show, pretty boring and long.

Ha, that is nit picking hairs.
I looked at some videos of Ultimate Alliance and it seems to just be the spiritual successors to the Xmen Legends game.
So, to answer my own question. Yes.
As for will I get it? Doubtful. Only because I feel those games are best enjoyed as a group and my group game playing days are over for most part. only have say friends over to play games like one every few months. Hardly enough to drop down $60 for a game.

Kinda easy to do when you are the only racing game out there and the other game is having a identity crisis.
