Seems like Smash might be the best reviewed fighting game this gen. Congrats. Looking forward to playing it.

Still it's a copy paste, not big d at all. It's feels like the old one, it's works like the old one it's looks like the old one. What's the point in struggling to make great game when at the end all you need is just copy and use it again + add more fighters and counting that will be enough to earn good score.
That's just my opinion, whole hype for this game is weird and unhealthy also incomprehensible. If this game will score higher then wholly reinvented God of War it will be joke, like this company could bo more, but still. |
Well reviewers definitely don't think like you, current 93 metacritic.

This is what happens when I decide to make a joke option. XD
Since reviews are out, I'll change to poll to asking people if they'll get the game.
Edit: Done.
Last edited by Mr.GameCrazy - on 06 December 2018I'm so excited for this game. World of Light seems to be a big let down though. I'm glad I spoiled myself so I know not to expect much. I mean, a cinematic cut-scene with all the characters, voice acting, how can anyone not expect a grand story experience after that?
still. I can see myself just listening to the tunes for hours and hours.

I don’t understand people who play single player in smash tbh. Like for what reason?
Same with Splatoon. It’s nice for it to be there but it doesn’t really add anything.
I wonder when MK9 launches.. Will people be complaining about lack of story and cutscenes in Mario Kart...most likely going by the recent game is art with story trend.

If you look at SSBB the story mode SSE was it's own thing and according to me stood on its own legs. Which is good since more fun out of the game.

Sometimes it is good to have a mode for when you can't get together with friends. (Also, I think Splatoon needs a single player campaign, which it has done a great job with for both games, as the game will become obsolete when online is taken down. )
My problem isn't that there should be a great story in Smash... It is just a bit of a disappointment when you lead with something like the opening cutscene in the World of Light only to find out that there is essentially nothing to come after that.

The gameplay they showed after the cinematic made it clear to me that wasn't gonna be the case, but I can definitely see how it would be misleading to some people. Even so, that was still just an assumption that I was hoping would be wrong, but now you've gone an ruined the fun of finding out for myself.
Pretty good scores for a party game. Wish they gave the story mode more depth though. Oh well. Should still be fun
