Forums - Politics Discussion - Why alot of Hondurenos try to cross the border

Rough conditions of life, not just for Hondurans but for a lot of Central Americans as well. They were also motivated by the logical idea that a sizeable group would put a lot of pressure under the American government, and a lot of misinformation that led them to believe that they wouldn't suffer a lot in Mexico on their way to the United States. Of course, this hasn't been the case and about 5K-6K people have to deal with very poor conditions in very small shelters here in my border city of Tijuana, where they don't seem to get a lot of support from the local population and even local authorities.

On top of that, the Mexican government remains very quiet on the matter (logically) and the political asylum procurement is a very lenghty process.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
