Nah it's not that unusual. They're always one of the 2 versions that sells better than it's counterpart. But since we don't have separated sales numbers well ... we're left to guess them.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Pikachu's version sold 30%-50% more copies than Evee's already. 

Yea thanks! I guess Pikachu being the companies mascot and pokemon yellow being the original made the gap even bigger
