Is this an incel thread?

Firstly, what the fuck?
Secondly, some men choose to remain single and "give up on women" because some men aren't interested in relationships. Yes, that happens. Whoever wrote that article is probably bitter about their failed relationships.

Might as well be. A lot of incels seem to think they are the ones to make the decision to give up on women.

I have friends that are male that are simply asexual. I  do know more asexual women but it does occur in men as well.

I don't think anyone should "chose to give up." However, the old script that you have to be married or in a relationship to be content with your life needs to die already. People who seem to be arguing with their significant other half the time ask me when I'm going to get married and it just feels silly. It's more like, "when are you going to get a divorce," to be honest.

A friend of mine has this mentality where he has to be in a relationship and he's always looking forward to marriage. He's depressed when it doesn't work out, he's morose when he's alone, but then when he's in a relationship, he seems to cycle constantly between euphoria and emotional exhaustion. With so many people bound to unhappy relationships, it's easy to see why rushing into commitments isn't necessarily a good life choice.

If it happens, then it happens. If it doesn't, then it doesn't. Either way should be fine. I think it's best to keep an open mind.

Finance. Today it is much more expensive to get married and raise children, it is not hard to see more and more people are choosing to be single when you have to work more and get paid in a fiat currencies that ALWAYS lose value/purchasing power as time passes.

eh I made roughly 2000 Euro profit after my wedding was over and being married means that I have to pay less in taxes.
Also it's cheaper to live with someone else since you can split the rent. And with the addition of your partner's wage you can buy more expensive stuff for your home.

The point about raising children is true, but I think that's optional.

I like the Urban Dictionary definition.

Incel, aka "involuntarily celibate", a person (usually male) who has a horrible personality and treats women like sexual objects and thinks his lack of a sex life comes from being "ugly" when its really just his blatant sexism and terrible attitude. incels have little to no self awareness; even when they see other "ugly" men with girlfriends, they consider these men to be tricksters who have somehow beat the system and can get women despite being cursed with unattractiveness (in other words, theyre respectful to women and women are attracted to their personalities, but incels cant comprehend such a phenomenon). they believe that women owe them sex, and many of the more extreme incels like to spend time in incel communities on the internet coming up with ways to make women have sex with them (often involving genocide of people of color, genocide of "Chads" (men who have sex), taking rights away from women, raping them, having sex with women's dead bodies, and other horrid, disgusting things. they cant understand that that is PRECISELY why women want nothing to do with them).

Yeah, living with a partner (without children) in a “normal“ relationship means that you have more and not less money. You share rent and furniture, you share energy costs, traveling is cheaper and much more as well.

To be single is more expensive except for a situation where you live a boring life without spending money on anything as single and where you only spend money and leave your home if you have a partner.
