he said switch is up tremendously he way over hyped switch sales imo, saying stuff like the people that underestimated switch holidays RIP. 1 million with cyber money included unlike last year means its only up slightly up. i mean h'es been hyping switch sales all month like crazy that he actually convinced me a little.

Again, all statements he said could still be true. It will be interesting at the end of the day. The key thing he was highlighting is the gap isn't as big as last year this whole month.

last year he never gave any hints to how big the gap was, infact everytime ps4 blows switch out of the water, he never mentions ps4 having a nice lead. last year ps4 out sold switch by nearly a million, and wasn't sure if ps4 would come out on top of switch, sure he was leaning ps4 but he wasn't sure, with such a mind blowing gap you would think his data  would  be more reliable. ps4 will blow switch out of the water this NPD and i'm calling it now.

What's more probably going to happen is that PS4 and XBO are very down YOY  (even with CM week) because there is no COD bundle launch this year. Switch could be at 1'0M and PS4 around 1'2-1'3M perfecly and XBO under 1M too....

If that's true...., is a really disappointing month for the industry. Or maybe we'll see a better December for all of them this year (with Switch is a given), but i don't know...

Quantify that is 1.0 to 0.75 blowing something out of the water? or is 1 to 0.66. Otherwise we have another cliff situation, and you basically making statement that doesn't make sense.

selling more then 900k in november is clearly blowing it out of the water, same thing for april, and october to a small degree.

Xbox is the one I am truly scared for, and they tried really hard. I think Switch being up YOY is fine, people who estimate 1.5 plus are insane. PS4 will be fine as well, 1.3 million would still be amazing. I do not know if Xbox One will be close to 1 million anymore. I try to be the optimistic with xbox predictions because it gets shit on way too much, so my prediction numbers for it might be dead wrong in the negative.

So more than 900,000 in November got it.

So for you to be correct about your new cliff statement of blowing things out of the water is 900,000 for November, which I will agree is blowing things out of the water.

Come on now, he's even perplexed at those results if true.

"Nintendo Switch hardware sales grew 115 percent compared to the same period in 2017."

That sounds like it's up tremendously to me and both periods include CM.

we are talking about the whole month of November, if 8.2 million number is accurate  which has the mostly likely scenario of being right.

So Switch is up 115% over last BF and people are spinning it into a negative? Not surprising
