Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pauline, Luma, and Boom Boom announced for Mario Tennis Aces

I'm starting to think Camelot will never work on an RPG ever again...

Hear, hear.

Though with the success of Aces, and that it implements a few RPG-like mechanics, Im hopeful that Nintendo provides them with more support(money) and freedom for them to finally tackle Golden Sun again.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Oh, come on.  You're being intentionally disingenuous.  They're making Mario Sports games, which are in no way even close to the same thing, and you know it.

Well you didn't specify what you were saying no to, working on a game with RPG elements or Mario Tennis Aces. Don't expect me to constantly be up to date on who's doing what.

For future reference, when someone talks about Camelot and how they are either never working on a RPG again or just dont Mario Sports games, they are clearly referencing Golden Sun.

100% of the time.

That'd be nice, or maybe even tackle EarthBound. :)

Golden Sun before Earthbound.Always :)

Actually not true.  While I would love a new Golden Sun, I'd also take a new RPG IP from them.  But, the thing I REALLY want from them, and have for about 20 years now, is a new Shining Force (which will likely never happen).  My avatar could have clued you in on what my favorite Camelot IP is.  ;)  Edit: While they don't own the IP, they did create it.
