Forums - Gaming Discussion - Since LoD is talked on this site I decided to finally play it

on my PSP, but a few hours in I was owned by the semi boss who triples itself. I was actually doing very good in that I guessed correctly who was the real one the first 4 or 5 times! but in the end I stood no chance anyway and have no desire to go back and grind for this boss. I may watch a lets play from this point in game. It is a shame, this game sucked me in but unfortunately the typical flaws of the classic JRPGs stopped me quite early on.

This one? I don't ever recall him being that much of a problem for me. All you really need is a few healing potions to get through the fight.

Sounds like you just need to cheat. That’s how I get through most of those classic rpgs...

Yes. In the video the player is overpowered, I was doing much less damage.

He's level 7, that's about what you should be at that point with just getting through the battles you encounter through normal gameplay, no grinding really needed. I'd have to replay the game again to really remember exactly, but for the most part all you really need is to keep the two characters healthy in that fight while attacking the enemy. He really only has about 250-260 hp if I remember correctly, so you probably weren't all that far from killing him in your fight you mentioned in the op.

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
