As Lets Go To Kanto its Pikachu and Eevee... But how about Gold/Silver Lets Go???

Obvious Candidates seem to be Espeon and Umbreon? Or Pichu? Who in your opinion? The starters?

Pikachu and Charmander

I think it will be Pichu and Marill like many have said.

Pokemon Marill and Pokemon Phanpy

Stantler and Dunsparce.

Pichu and Togepi

Like could it not be Togepi after like 5 seasons of Misty carrying him/her around in the anime? It was like her counter part to Pikachu.

This would be awesome. Gold and silver are the best Pokémon games ever made.

Just call it let’s go gold and let’s go silver. They should start us with no one. That would be kind of cool. Catch our first guy out in the wild.

Togepi and Marill

the only deciding factor in choosing Pikachu and Eevee were popularity. Pikachu was of course the mascot for Yellow Version, and people love Eevee for its many evolutions. For Gen II, Togepi was pushed as the main mascot for the region, but then Marill also got quite a bit of attention due to the 'Pikablue' rumors and then its addition to HGSS as your friend's partner. I would say Pichu over Marill, but Pichu is just the baby form of Pikachu so I dont think people would be as excited

They will have to be Marril and someone else. Pichu won't be because that's just Pikachu again, and Togepi will be the mysterious egg they show you. Unless Pichu is in that egg, in which case, yeah, Togepi it is.

I like this idea.

But as others have said, it will probably be Marill and Togepi. I would hope it wouldn't be Pichu and Marill what with both being very similar Pokemon.
