Pokemon is a sales monster! really impressive

Wow. Switch dwarfing everything else this week.
This must be one of the Switches best weeks ever in japan and barring stock issues everything points to Smash week being just as big if not bigger.
Nice numbers for Pokemon Let's Go too, of course. COMG is getting really inaccurate for Switch games though.

Fallout did much better than I expected it to do though.

Insane boost for Switch this week. Great job, Pokémon!

Here is the week 46 update in terms of the two big consoles in Japan's path to be able to reach the commonly stated (in these sales threads) estimates for 2018 sales (2 mil for PS4, 4 mil for Switch) .

TWS - This week's sales
GD - Goal differential, the difference between the average week needed from last week compared to this week's sales
YTD - Units sold in 2018 so far including this week's sales
AWN - Average weekly sales needed to reach the estimate for the console.

Big week as expected for the Switch with Pokemon release + Pokemon/Smash bundles. It actually got closer to its goal than the PS4 did for the first time in like half a year or so, by about 500 units. Both systems' AWN raised by 12k. The race to who can come closest has tightened up considerably.

Nintendo owns Japan.
