Seriously though, I wonder how much store credit was being offered. If it was like $50, I would have taken it. If it was $20, then the destruction is justified.

How can he possibly hope to return an item without the cheque, obviously he had found the game in a garbage bin or on his roommates desk.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
People need to learn. It’s not even that he doesn’t have the receipt, it’s the fact the game was opened; therefore, in game unsealed and not new anymore. You can’t return any electronic device if it’s been opened, that’s a rule at every retailer ever. Some people are so dumb, like this guy.
