Forums - Gaming Discussion - Switch version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet is not censored, PS4 version will be missing several 'features'

OP, it seems like your chart got cut off.  In the 'feature' comparison, it looks like the Switch version is missing 30fps.  Not sure if Nintendo is censoring those 30fps but it clearly shows that the Xbox One version will be the best version.

Pfew. Get the one that is 30fps or the one missing what makes the series popular and liked. I guess this non existent version will solve both issues.

Nintendos philosophy has always been gameplay over graphics. That notion shouldn't exclude mature content.

Since when is 0 fps better than 30 fps?

Since I was making a joke relative to what I'd already said earlier in the thread.

Nintendo not censoring makes sense. Besides the fact that as mentioned, they have not done this to a 3rd party game in years, they are obviously ok just getting 3rd parties to support a console as much as the Switch has been (arguably same for handheld considering the drop in support on 3DS).

It is still dumb that Sony does this now, or at least makes the process as difficult it it sounds, but ultimately these are games that I have zero inclination to buy. So, it is what it is

Just remember, when they come for the games we like, the perverts won't defend us. I'm sure violent content or "politically-charged" will be next.

Imagine telling a kid during the PS1/N64 days that Nintendo is completely cool with tits & ass and sexualization in games, but Sony has a problem with it.

I can't tell you but it does involve softening gel.

This. If it can happen to a game I don't play, it can happen to a game I do play.

Precisely why no one should be in favor of this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Interactive_Entertainment

"In April 2016, SCE and Sony Network Entertainment International was restructured and reorganized into Sony Interactive Entertainment, carrying over the operations and primary objectives from both companies. The same year, SIE moved its headquarters from Tokyo to San Mateo, California."

Sony is a US-based console manufacturer since two years ago. Japan is a subsidiary nowadays.

They should probably ditch it then, it's not like they're selling anything over there anyway. Just leave the market to Nintendo and Microsoft.

Uh... You realize MS's influence is non-existent in japanese gaming space aside from Minecraft, right? Meaning with Sony ditching the Japanese market they can either go Nintendo , mobile, or die. (Since the PC market isn't nearly as big over there)

Wow! Did not expect sony to do this. I wonder how long until their censorship blews up like CrossPlay
