Its been 4days right? how much longer do they need.
Plus there was the beta too....

I think alot outlets are just scared to reivew and give it a honest score.

Beta under no circumstances should ever be factored into a review. EVER.

It's an online RPG you are expected to play for years. Any decent review worth there salt will spend a few weeks reviewing it.

That's a fair stance, but what other online centric games are reviewers extending this courtesy to? Usually they seem to have no problem putting out fast reviews for these titles.

Shared world shooters usually get that type of extra time. I recall Destiny 2 reviews happening a week after release.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Not really. Some outlets take their time a bit, but the large majority of reviews are hitting in the first few days of release.

Nearly every review is at lease a week after the launched.

Hmm, fair enough. Could have sworn that game had tons of reviews at launch.

All right people, Fallout 76 vs. Mass Effect Andromeda vs. Duke Nukem Forever. Which sequel has been the biggest letdown? Can Nukem prevail!?

How dare you forget Metal Gear Survive?

Actually no...bigger online games most serious reviewers always take their time.

What? You can easily put 100-200 hours in bethesda games. They are easily worth $60 for the amount of content they have.

And they are for sure triple A. The budget makes a game AAA, not the amount of bugs.

This is a misunderstanding of AAA these days, they should be of a certain high quality and budget. Bethesda are not high quality nor are they putting in the budget as they have said themselves. They use the old engine for easy effort, minimum cost with maximum profit, the games advertise themselves after a strategic announcements. They are AA by definition.

Quality isnt what makes AAA. Its the budget. And Skyrim/Fallout 4 had a big budgets.

Its completely fine if you dont like the games. However, that doesnt make them non AAA.

I love the games, well, except for Fo4 but they do not stack up to AAA games. Quality IS an aspect of AAA classification and the quality isn't there, I also suspect the budget isn't there. Skyrim yes, in 2011 but F4 and F76 are not AAA games by definition in 2018.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AAA_%28video_game_industry%29

"AAA (pronounced "triple-A") is an informal classification used for video games produced and distributed by a mid-sized or major publisher, typically having higher development and marketing budgets."

AAA never meant quality. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is still AAA. The Order 1886 is still AAA. Mass Effect Andromeda is still AAA. You may dislike these games, but that doesnt mean they aren't AAA anymore. Fallout 4 most likely had a bigger budget than Skyrim, and had a huge marketing campaign. It qualifies as AAA.

Or Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival? Or Metroid Prime Federation Force? My goodness this is a rabbit hole of depression I shouldn't have gone down...
