If I'm Microsoft I'd wait a bit and then release a more powerful system in late 2020.

I’m sure that’s their plan. Problem is it’s unlikely they’ll be able to react quickly unless the true specs leak really early.

MS had already confirmed the next gen console  scarlett.

Sony also has the advantage that they are getting Navi, which, according to rumors, AMD has been working very closely with Sony on.  My guess is that Navi is going be much more efficient, while MS is going to have to brute force their way to similar power using Vega.  I think Sony will still end up with a slight advantage over the XB2.  Or if MS does have an advantage, we are looking at another $500 machine.  Either way, Sony is going to be in a good position next gen to continue their success.

Welp, Anthem is a mess. Who would have guessed, lol.

Probably more likely they want it to be cross gen... Yet another comparison to Destiny. Exclusive marketing for PS5.

Microsoft when asked about a potential PS4 release and Sony get a possible headstart their response was whenever they announce a launch date so will we, and that's pretty much what happened. I expect a similar response this time .

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Perhaps they're ready to launch in March but would rather have a more feature packed console ready to go in November. Just waiting on Microsoft. Neither company wants to give the other too much head start.

That could indeed be late though.

Remember Microsoft's "History has shown us that the first company to reach 10 million in console sales wins the generation battle"?

OT: Looking forward to hear more at the 25th anniversary PSX.

What quote is that? It’s definitely not been true for them last gen.

Well, we’ll see I guess...at least X1X has released a year later and they’re more likely to anger their fans if they’d release too early.

March 2020 or Nov 2020 for PS5 is my guestimate
