The problem is I found it really sexy, but when it turned out she was only 14-15 I felt like a piece of shit. Then again, she's an anime character and I didn't do anything directly to her, right?

Don't worry about the age, she's not a real person. If she's drawn to look 25, then whatever age the author tells you she is is irrelevant...it just means you're attracted to adult women. Unless you're only attracted her because she's underage...which, yeah, is a problem, but it sounds like that doesn't apply to you.

I can't tell how many times I found a girl cute only for the author to pull out the old: "Oh she's actually a guy, ha ha got you!" Am I suddenly gay for being attracted to a female character design?

I'm not attracted to underage girls, that's disgusting! The only reason I thought she was an adult was because she had breasts and was shaking her ass in a skimpy dancing outfit.

Some days I just blow up.

Honestly, at this point the thread sounds like nothing more than your sexually frustrated ramblings about being "tricked" by a made up age of a fictional drawing. Like pokoko eloquently demonstrated, there's no winning here, because a drawing can be any age the artist says it is. It's not real. Stop caring. More importantly, stop blaming Japan for you getting worked up about it.

I am currently sigless.

Thank you for putting into words what I think about both debates (underage and traps).

This is the only logical and solid way of thinking about those false debates.

No, it's not.

Age of consent is just an arbitrary number, the fact that countries have different ages for that proves just how arbitrary that is. Being attracted to somebody under an imaginary age line isn't in any way disgusting. If it's a long way under then yeah, that's not right. But just a year or two? Well firstly that would be completely legal in another country and it's entirely possible that somebody looks older or younger than they actually are. If they're attractive then they're attractive. You shouldn't have to ask their age before you can decide if you think they're attractive or not.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

Lately I've been rather concerned about how Japanese female cartoon, comic and game characters tend to be in skimpy outfits.

No I'm not saying it's wrong, but it feels like it should be when said characters are only 14-17. How is this considered ok?!

And there's a wonder why so many Japanese people have no interest in sex?

Pure John Ruskin syndrome explained right there. While the Japanese saying is "No one wants Christmas Cake after the 25th" it seems many lose their appetite for it by the 14th-17th.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Yes, you're gay. It's the laws of this society. It's also why you're a pedophile when you're attracted to a big breasted 15 year old girl that wears skimpy clothing and flirts with you.

If you're not attracted to underage girls, the fuck did you do until you were 18?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Let me be clear on this.  "Legal" doesn't always equate to what's moral while "illegal" doesn't always equate to what's immoral.  And keep in mind that man made laws are just that, laws made by men with the given that humankind is flawed.  So what happens when here in the U.S. the age of consent gets lowered to 16?  Or raised to 21?  And you have to ask yourself are you abstaining from breaking the law because you fear legal repercussions or is it a moral issue such as a conscious or personal conviction?  And after you're determined which set of morals or rules to live by, what give you the right to judge or question others when they don't live as such?

Hentai is a risky pleasure my friend.

I really don't know how anime studios get away with making underage cartoon characters do that. (I don't watch regular anime, only hentai).

Here's a novel idea. Stop consuming content that doesn't interest, or even offends, you. Clearly it's not something you should be wasting your time on.

It tells one thing or three about the people that do consume such content.

As long as it's not real then no problems with me.
