I just dont think the buz was there for the game, it had some at E3, but I think its fallen quite a bit since then and I think its partly because it just looks like FO4 reskin... they need to bin that stupid engine and look at getting some new designers on board.

But that's pretty much the point.  This was never intended to be a Fallout 5.  It is purely to answer the question of what would happen if you made a Fallout 4 multiplayer.

yeah totally understand its not FO5, but you have to at least make it significant from any other game you've made to show its worth the investment(when charging full price for it). From what a lot of people are playing (I have to be upfront I haven't played it), people are saying its got lack of content and just a FO4 reskin without NPC's. Not for me honestly.

I work at retail and the pre-orders were way under expectation. Like was anticipating 100 orders and only got about 40. Pick up percentage is ratyer low, but it is just the first day.

The EB where I buy my games from said the game was selling  I guess we'll  have to wait and see.

What if anything is a red flag on a game is when developers restrict the media to send out reviews before the official release of the game.

Except in the case of Bethesda, they made a policy change about 3 years ago to not send out early review codes for any of their games before release. Even the good games like Dishonored 2 and Doom didn't get early reviews.

I get that to an extent. They don't need jaded reviewers who speed run through games to be criticizing their games. If they are forced to play them with everyone else they are no longer put into an arbitary crunch time to finish which very well might effect their perception of it.

Watching some streams it actually looks like a very good online game. 8 don't play the series but it's fair enough what they did. You already got the single player F4 now they want to release an MMORPG. It will be supported for years if it takes off. Fallout 5 will come in a few years so they've done nothing wrong in my book.

man.... clicking on a few of those users accounts who've given the game a 9/10 and see that all those accounts are created just to give the game that vote and drop either a PR blurb about it or else attack people who are negative towards it, if this is Bethesda's PR department working to counter negativity online this is a bad very obvious way of going about it. I'll be honest, after seeing those 10 scores I chucked it a 0 just to counter their PR depts work just for fun. Dislike the practice of manipulation of review scores on a games launch to make it appear successful and liked by the community.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Garbage game and an embarrassment to the series i told people it was globally hated and they said i was lying lol

Fallout needs like a 10 year break.

According to data mining, Fallout76 has already 6 DLC packs planned. I think bethesda may run this game for years if they can keep selling it. I hope not, but they don't need a huge audience to keep this game running at a profit. Just enough rich whales .

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

I think we're a few weeks, if not months away from being able to declare this game a flop. Mixed reviews do not indicate flop, at least not where flop refers to poor sales. I'm not buying the game, but I don't by Fall out games anyway, at least not near launch. and even if everyone on this site refused by the game, as does everyone that we know, that doesn't mean anything on the scale of fallout sales.
