While it won't win, is nice that Celeste gets recognition as a nominee for GOTY.
Haven't played most of the games that have come out this year, but I guess I can still say something about at least a few of these nominations.
-Best Art Direction should go to either Octopath Traveler or Obra Dinn, or if they value the animation side more than visual design, then probably God of War.
-I wish Mega Man 11 won best action game, but it won't.
-Best score for me is Ni No Kuni II from what I've listened to the soundtracks nominated.
I really hope Celeste wins GOTY. I did the review here and it barely missed being a 10/10 in my book. What a truly stunning and emotional game!
Ni No Kuni 2 for best rpg and soundtrack easily IMO (well, soundtrack GOW was pretty great). One of the best games period of last year.
Going for God of War to win GOTY. 8 noms. Damn rdr2 will be hard to beat though.
