There should be people that can guess this game;

#14: It's too bad the remake of this one coming next year doesn't include the second game.
Hint 2: Because I’d love to play the second adventure of this boney fellow. I missed it back then, all I know is that instead of a fantastical version of the middle ages in the first game I played, the second one takes place during the Victorian era after a 500 year slumber.

MediEvil. Bony Fellow was a pretty good hint here.

Thanks. MediEvil is correct! Great game.

I've never even heard of that.

No, it is a Wario game.

Two games still remain. Kinda surprised that these haven't been guessed yet actually:

#14: (1) Lot of weird people in the Jungles of the Soviet Union. (2) There can be only one Boss. (3) Sniper Duel.

#13: (1) Many kings have come and gone, one succumbed to poison, another to flame, still another sleeps under a city encased in ice, and for each king a queen appeared, a fragment of the soul of the first man, all searching for purpose. (2) Many kingdoms have come and gone, but this one was called Drangleic. (3) Many undead have come and gone, but only one can take the throne and start the cycle anew.

Fina Fantasy X
(Change YoY: Same Rank)

This is the game I originally bought a PlayStation 2 for. It was up to that point in time quite possibly my most anticipated new release of all time. Final Fantasy IX had been released in Europe just a little over a year prior, and I absolutely loved it. On the back of that I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next game in the series, which would also serve as my entry into the next generation of consoles. I had never been as hyped about a game as I was for Final Fantasy X, and fortunately it lived up to almost all of my expectations.

Of course, the first thing that impressed me were the graphics. This was the best looking game I had ever seen up to that point, and I still love the way its world looks. Then there was the excellent score by three great composers (Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano), the best battle system the series had seen up to that point, and finally the story and characters which are still among my favourites in video games. The game also featured voice acting, a first for the series, and while it can be quite uneven in quality at times, overall I find most of the performances very good. All in all, this is an excellent game, and one of the best games I've ever played. Still not the best game in the series though, but we'll get to that later.

That's the one!

No one else got any guesses for my other games? Most of them aren't that hard.

#19 Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

As you may have noticed, my greatest games list contains a lot of turn-based strategy, tactics or RPG. The Fire Emblem series just happens to fit perfectly to my tastes. Radiant Dawn being the Wii game of the series, a follow-up on the story of the Gamecube-entry. It was my first encounter with Fire Emblem... and I was fascinated. Struggling with the right tactic, keeping everyone alive, trying to keep them leveled up enough and so on was hard. The game had a great story and does in the graphical department something very important: managing to present a lot of information without overwhelming. Some similar titles fail at that. Yes, this was a fun game.

One of the best PlayStation games and one of the best adventure games in general, 'MediEvil' was a fresh take on the genre and a take we sadly haven't really seen since. The game centers around the fallen knight "Daniel Fortesque", who is hailed as a hero in a past war, but in reality wasn't anything of the sort. When the evil sorcerer Zarok plans to strike again, Fortesque is resurrected to battle his old nemesis, but remains undead.

The game does not take itself very serious, which is good. There's a lot of slapstick comedy in the way enemies are animated, in certain events in cutscenes and in dialogue. The final battle is particularly interesting when antagonist Zarok shows his wizardry skills, or lack thereof. Gameplay-wise the battle is also unique, the first phase for example has the player empower undead allies with bolts of lightning in a sort of field battle instead of fighting any enemy directly.

The rest of the game is equally memorable. The combat remains satisfying and the levels also contain various puzzle sections. Souls of the defeated will be collected in the chalice, which unlocks new and stronger weapons and shields if filled completely. The series remained on the original PlayStation sadly, with a port of the first game to the PSP and soon a remake of the first game on PS4, but i hope one day there will be a new sequel on a modern console. It deserves to be a trilogy.
