It's a fighting game, so no. I know Soul Caliber managed it, but that was 18 years ago.

Only if the gameplay is more like Melee, and probably not even then. TBH, I can't even tell the difference, but that would be the trigger to set off some hardcore reviers.
Nowhere near those games. Looks too much like Smash 4. I'd say mid to high 80s.

I think the reviewers would dock off points for broken hitboxes, multiple exploitable glitches, extreme ledge punishments and generally outdated gameplay.

Thats true but i think ssbu looking hugely improved compared to ssb4 almost like smo was to sm3dw.
I mean single player alone might get those points up by a good amount compared to ssb4 and ssb4 had 3ds release just right b4 it
