Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Fortnite is dying. All my friends ditched it for Bo4.

Nah, this is insanely popular game with kids, even parents who usually don't let their kids play shooters are fine with it.

As if Fortnite hadn’t already bitch slapped PUBG enough...

The future of online games in general, mainly the ones focused on the competitive side, is to be F2P.

I played fortnite for 2 or 3 weeks and loved it. But then the charm died quickly for me. Glad to hear it's still doing great right now. Its printing cash for epic, creating the mobile version of the game was genius.

When were these 2 or 3 weeks?

Maybe just your friends then. Blackout barely has 15k viewers atm on Twitch while Fortnite remains at the top.

Blackout won't even put a dent in fortnite. Neither will bfv or rdr2 br.

Yeah it really did take over the BR market once dominated by PUBG.

It was the first couple weeks after release on switch. So late June and early July I think.

Cool. I played it a lot for the first 12 months but recently lost interest.

Is that just on PSN or on all platforms?

It is a free game. You don't even need online service subscriptions play it. It is on every platform known to man. Sales numbers, and concurrent players are meaningless.

And of course the F2P model rakes in the cash. We've known this since LoL first came out. Stop pretending to be surprised by it.
