Congratulations to every Democrat who won their race against the odds, and who helped flipped the house. It has taken 2 long years to finally flip the house, to have a branch of government that will conduct their constitutional mandated role of oversight. You can expect subpoenas, hearings with hard questions. You can expect that if you obstructed Justice, or conspired with Russia that they'll be consequences, they will be severe, it'll be embarrassing, and they will bankrupt you. Also it is possible that nothing will happen.

I'd say it was business as usual. It's a normal midterm election outcome with the president's party losing votes. It was neither a huge win for the Republicans, as Trump tried to suggest on Twitter, nor a big democratic wave with dramatic losses for the incumbent's party. Pretty standard, actually.

Democrats have taken control of half of the government, this is nothing to down play about. They haven't had the house in 8 years, if Republicans are not worried now, they will be later.

It means that Trump and the Republicans will have to play ball to get anything passed for the next two years, which is a good thing. But they'll also double down on stacking the judiciary with overly biased judges, which is regrettable.
