NYT has the Dems taking the house at 95%.

Recreational Marijuana is winning in Michigan 60 to 40. Hopefully Illinois and Wisconsin and other surrounding states pay attention to this when Michigan is suddenly flushed with tax money.

I think it looks like the Dems will probably eek into a small majority for the House, Senate probably stays GOP. Marginal win for the Dems but far from a "Blue Wave" they've been yelling about..

What I don't get is why exactly is Fox News calling the House for the Dems already? Results are still up in the air, and the whole West Coast and most of Great Plains have yet to report in.. And remember, Dems have more seats they have to gain than Repubs. They're only flipped up a few seats so far as far as I'm aware, right?

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden

MSNBC just called the house to Dem control and Senate to Republican control.

Weird how the Senate and House are going in different direction. I guess it's where the seats are but you'd expect to see the same general trend,

Gop has a chance to keep the house still.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Not American so could be wrong, but I've read that only part of the Senate's seats were being renewed, and most of the renewed ones were already democrats, so they can't gain a lot there.

The House is entirely renewed?

Nah. Every House seat is up for election but only a third of Senate seats. It's just a cyclical thing that this round happened to favor Republicans.
