Allow voter id and watch democrat votes go down in an instant!

The problem with voter ID laws are that ID cards are not free. If they give free ID cards and implement voter ID laws that would be great.

Did you know you need an ID to get welfare and other government assistance.

So if you are too poor to afford an ID, then you should probably be getting assistance, and in that case again you need an ID.

Also you won't find many people that do not either drink or smoke, both with require an ID. (also are spendy. Basically one case of beer costs the same as a drivers license/ID)

So please drop that bullshit, can't afford an ID. Besides, many of the states that are trying to implement ID laws, have it in the proposed law that ID's will be free.

Isn't it funny that Republicans are constantly accused of voter fraud and suppression, and here we have what seems like a pretty obvious case of Democratic voter-suppression in Florida.

I missed the part where it was obvious of Dems voter suppression.  What is the example you have that the Dems is suppression votes.

Just calling it as i see it, not claiming anything as fact. Which is why i used the word "seems"

So, you think the Dems are supressing their own votes?

I didn't know you need an ID if you're getting government assistance. But you have a point. Voter ID laws will make elections less problamatic.

Looks like the Dems are trying to steal the elections in Arizona and Florida. Coming up with thousands upon thousands of ballots days after the vote was over, when these ballots should have all been collected and counted on Tues, Wed at the very latest. And surprise, surprise, the vast majority of them favor Dems. Pathetic. I hope Gov Scott wins his lawsuit against this voter fraud.

So you think provisional ballots shouldn't be counted? What a democratic system we live in where you can vote and not have your vote counted if doesn't help your side. Several Republican counties still have votes in Arizona, should we also stop those too?Recount will find any errors, but it's sad we live in time where voter suppression is so accepted by  some that they think not every vote should  be counted anymore.

Please.  All of this crap should have been done by the end of Wed, at the latest.  And in the case of Florida, it seems these ballots are just mysteriously appearing, when they are, by law, to be accounted for by the time the polling stations close on Election Day.  Oh, and they also just happen to be overwhelmingly favoring Dems.  The woman in charge has already been in trouble for toying with election results and refuses to give any info on these ballots.  Where they came from.  How many are left to count.  My guess for the last one is just enough to have the Dem win.  Why she is allowed to keep her position is beyond me. And in another county, the supervisor has taken it upon herself to judge how people intended to vote if the ballots are "damaged" or "incorrectly filled out," instead of it being handled by an independent council, as it is supposed to be.

It's Al Frankin all over, again.

[edit:  original was too harsh.

[You say many, but I presume this means "not all".  I would still say that any required voter ID should be free; otherwise it's a fancy poll tax.  Do you support/accept or oppose poll taxes?]

They all could be for all I know. I just didn't say all, because if there was one that wasn't then someone would come in an cherry pick my comment saying that's not true, like you did.

You already ignored my first three paragraphs that make the last one meaningless. An ID costs like $25. If you can't F*cking afford an id, then you should be getting government assistance. OH, and as I said, to get assistance, you need an ID.

And you know what poor people consume more of than people ell off? Alcohol and tobacco. Both which REQUIRE an ID.

Is is a fancy poll tax? No. Life is incredibly hard without an ID. You can't legally get gov't assistance, drive, drink, smoke, have a bank acct, get a job, ect. All those things you need to do illegally without an ID. So pray tell me, why someone would not want an ID. Getting one makes ones life infinitely easier.

It's Al Frankin all over, again.

The counting process in Broward county in the past has been sketchy to say the least, but there still have been no credible evidence of corruption. Even the law enforcement agency that looks over the elections in Florida has said they have received no complaints or evidence of any tampering in Broward. Until credible claims and evidence come out, there is nothing to prove that these results are false. Its Scotts fault that he has done nothing over the past 8 years to fix the problems in these counties. Ultimately I think they should be more open about how many votes are left.

I also can't help but notice you make no reference to Arizona in this post? You called it corrupt, but have provided no evidence of it being corrupt. You have point to doubt Broward due to its past, but nothing from Arizona. Counting paper ballots take time, its a reality of life. Its unfortunate that our system is so slow that it take several days, but thats the way it is. Might I remind you that it took 10 days for them count every ballot and declare winner in Mcsally's original house election. This is nothing new to her or Arizona. If you think it should be faster, then you need to be willing to have your tax money be spent to modernize our election process, until then, its best not to complain corruption when ballots are counted late.

And must I remind you what provisional ballots are. They are ballots that people who go to the wrong polling station, don't have an ID, or something wrong about these status fill out. They get until Friday in most states to prove who they are or correct whats wrong. If you want to not count all these vote because its past Wednesday, thats just sad.

The deal with Arizona is that they are 'fixing' ballots where the signatures do not match in the mail in votes.

So essentially, each registered voter has their signature in the system. Those signatures do not match many of the mailed in ballots signatures. The democrats want to continue 'fixing' them, or counting them as legit ballots, while republicans do not want them to count claiming they are fraudulent.

Double posted somehow.

I have no idea why the Reps in Arizona settled with them.  This is obviously just going to help Sinema.  Why the heck are we going to count votes when the signatures don't match?

Oh, and in Florida, election supervisor Snipes has defied the court order forcing her to be open about these new ballots.  But, nothing to see here.  I'm sure they're all legitimate.
