If I recall last year on Amazon US, Switch was wining hole month and than PS4 and XB1 were ahead of Switch when Black Friday arrived,
this year is different, Switch actually gained with Black Friday and still is top selling console of month.

Hard to grasp on ps4 with the fall out earlier bewteen sony/amazon but good news is mk8d bundle was ahead of the main x1 and on top of that with sold out it remained in the top 3 for well over a day. So it must of sold alot.

Gamestop and amazon i bey switch was very well sold with Spiderman bundle being a bit better at gamestop but dominated everywhere else (Wal-Mart/target/BestBuy)

I predict that NPD will again be PS4>NS>Xbox.

Seems to be the case, at least from my anecdotal evidence. I went to my local Game stop and Walmart and they sold out of the PS4 and Switch bundles. Still had XBOs. According to insiders on Resetera, Sony stocked quite a bit more stock than Nintendo. MS  probably hurt their sales for the month by having an early BF week of sales at the end of Oct. And all that got them was a somewhat distant 3rd for the month. I'd hate to see what sales would have been without that $199 S and $399 X sale.

So? Amazon is no good for telling us how the month will go, at least for now. Last month people thought the Switch was going to crush it. Instead it came in at a very distant 2nd and was actually down YOY.

That's pretty much the consensus from everyone I helieve. PS4 has had a mighty month by all accounts - hard to topple that Spidey bundle, Switch seems to be doing really well as well and while Xbox looks to be doing really well online it seems it's not doing as well in B&M. November might pull off some fantastic numbers.

Damn the switch has been number 1 for days on Amazon UK, i wonder how much it is selling.

Is there some sort of promotion or deal on Switch SKUs on amazon UK? They might need it, Nintendo is far behind the other systems in terms of popularity.. but with both Pokemon and Smash upcoming it's at least a good sign for the future.

It's been £249.99 for a few days now. Regular price is £279.99.

So that means that Switch has great month on Amazon and better one compared to last year compared to competition. Amazon tells us how sales are on Amazon.

Maybe when compared to the XBO.  However, it is obvious that Amazon has not been ordering near the amount of PS4 stock as they used to, so it doesn't really paint a good picture in that comparison.

Benji has made some interesting post on both Twitter and ResetERA

PS4 could in fact be down from last November

Especially if Cybermonday doesn't move a lot.

https://www.resetera.com/posts/15365168/

2 million for the PS4 is unlikely right now

Keep, according to Benji its still having strong sales and could still be number 1, but don't expect any major growth, in fact it might be down.

If Benji is only referring to Amazon sales, that would make a lot of sense as I believe there were much less stock for the PS4 this year. However, in terms of retail brick and mortar sales, everything points to there being a larger supply overall of PS4 units this year than last year, which would mean larger Black Friday sales than last year.

Benji is referring to overall sales.
