PS4 digital has been exceptionally high this year in Japan, Spider Man did 90+k for September, I can see COD and Red Dead having similar (or greater) numbers. Japan seems to embracing western titles en mass this year.

Thats true, yes. The digital sales figures are particularly strong this year. The next big game will be Battlefield 5 from the west ?!

And after the big "Monster Hunter World"-success I'm especially looking forward to "Kingdom Hearts 3" in January - for myself and the people from Japan :)

Good sales for RDR2 and CoD, everything else is meh.

Next two weeks will be very boring for Switch, but in third week we will have Pokemon Lets Go game launch, Pokemon Lets Go bundles and Smash Bros bundle launch, all on same day, we probably talking about 200k+ week.

Red dead impressive, not crazily like black ops or spider man, but still impressive. Hardware down another week, one or two more meh weeks before the big swing upwards I imagine.

What? Didn't rdr2 open higher then spiderman launch?

Anyway excellent sales for rdr2. Nice growth for the series. Spidey almost 300k and bo4 great second week.

Ps4 Pro beat the slim this week. Sales will be slow for ps4 in November without a slim price cut.

In other news switch is now down YOY. Joining all other consoles down except for XB1. it will drop further the next 2 weeks as sales will be average. It will be interesting to see if it goes back up for the year 3 weeks from now.

There is two reasons Spider Man is/was more impressive (in the sense of crazily), one is because it didn't build on previously successful game. Second reason it had serious stock issues, I do not see reports of Red Dead Redemption 2 facing those same issues.

That's true. It will be Intersting to compare rdr2 week 2 and digital sales.

A bit higher than I expected for RDR2, well done. I reckon Black Ops 4 should be close to, if not already past 500k with digital included. Pretty amazing.

Anybody else find it amusing that XBO is currently the only platform up YoY?

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

PS4 software doing really well.
Switch meh this week, I imagine sales are being cannibalized a bit by all the holiday pre-order bundles.

Switch is basically in a calm before the storm, just wait and see
